Second Harvest is an archive of daily drawings documenting all of the discarded peach stones that I have gathered from the pavement over the past year. Slowly amassed throughout the month of August and into September, the collection of observational drawings acts a means of testing materials and methods for the artist’s PhD, the goal being to reach a mark and surface that accurately conveys an affective melancholic experience of the ephemeral.
