Close (2021) – balloons, breath, glassed enclosure
Close is an installation which speaks to the difficulty of being together at this time. The work consists of an installation of balloons, each one holding the breath of a stranger. The audience are asked to participate, to add their breath. The work concludes with an interactive audience engagement around a key question – ‘will you come closer?’
