Along with Art History and Theory, Drawing is a core subject at the National Art School. This site documents some of the activities of the drawing department and provides resources to NAS students as an adjunct to their study.

Our rigorous program includes engagement in the studio conventions of observational and life drawing, through to exploration through installation, abstraction and new media, which support the individual development of each student.
